The Killers song is a remix, called “When You Were Young (Jacques Lu Cont Thin White Duke Remix)” You should be able to find it, if you do some digging. I know I did.

ya dj pale i have that but the other beat thats in it but not on that version that i have i dont know how to describe it but….. like just when the second girl comes on after that blonde that lost her shoe theres like another beat that comes in its like a keyboard/piano backbeat thast the version that i want here is a link to watch it and see if you know what im talkin about

i was just thinking about this remix thing a while ago. yes, the song is When You Were Young by The Killers… and i think the closest remix there is would be the Jacques Lu Cont Remix. as for the backbeat, it’s a VSFS personalized mix (like VSFS 2005’s I Like The Way-Dance Of The Little Swans interlude) not that i’m being a smartass or anything… i just figured, When You Were “YOUNG”.
Young = Baby = Lullaby
maybe that’s what they did this time. o_O

Yeah tdot,
They mixed some other stuff into it, like the blocks (flat chimes), and there’s about a 10 second stretch of a cello or something playing. That stuff was all mixed by somebody especially for Vic Secrect

i think i read somewhere that they indeed released a DVD of last year’s show… or maybe my eyes were just tired from an all-nighter of VSFS info-gathering. =P
in any case… the remixes have, like, a hundred possibilities. (the classic version of Toy Soldiers by Martika has an uncanny likeness to the When You Were Young alternating beat)
anyways… gotta get me that HD video now. LOL

I think that the backbeat behind the when you were young remix of the flight attendant scene, was ‘breathe – sia’, instrumentally only, at the start of breathe – sia u can hear the same ‘do do’ watever cello beat. Presumeably they mixed those two tracks as they did with other tracks. Whether there is an available remix who knows?

Hey I really don’t know if anyone still reads this?…but i totally watched the VSFS 2006 and i wanted the opening theme? the song thats being played while they introduce the angels?….its like a guitar piece…i wanted to use it as an opening theme too…anyone know?…guitar piece? playing while they introduce Giselle, Selita, Alessandra, Karolina and Adriana?
