Summer time clothes are much more revealing, and every gal could use a little help looking her best. Here are some summer essentials from Bubbles Bodywear
With small tank tops, the last thing you want to see is a bra strap. Really. Raceback tank tops like this one are a staple in my wardrobe. Must have about 15 of them. But there is nothing more unattractive than seeing the bra strap cut right down the shoulder. Plus, it makes for a horrid tan line. So, I use the Bubbles Strapper Bra Adjuster to turn my favorite bra into a convertible bra - because I’ve yet to find a convertible bra as comfortable as my regular one!

Next problem. Skirts. Too hot for pantyhose to keep yourself looking lean and mean. In come the Bubbles Butt Booster Bands - it’s like a legwarmer-style contraption you put on each thigh. The top is a band, the bottom more like pantyhose. You position it under the toosh for a little oomph in the rear.

Last issue - panty lines. If you hate g-strings like I do, you can opt for the Garment Guard for the final seamless touch:

Wacoal (site in Japanese) produces a series of hip and tummy tucking shapewear items that not only "tuck" in your unwanted areas, but help you slim them down.
Created with panels of resin, the tension created during walking is supposed to help tighten and tone your body.

Apparently we’re not the only ones who love Spanx. Avril Lavigne does too;

Spanx are great for any butt. Really great.

I have stuff similar to Spanx, since in Canada it can be hard to find in department stores (I like to try things on). However, I do know that the seamlessness and comfort of this shapewear can’t be beat.

Va Bien Classic Bodysuit is one of the shapewear items I mentioned earlier today. This one has legs, instead of skirts, which makes it great for taming the thighs. The panels in front are criss-crossed for extra support. The bra is supportive, even without underwire.

You don’t have to worry about taking this off in a hurry since there is a split crotch for those bathroom breaks. The lace on the legs prevents it from riding up, but it can get hot.
Comes in a variety of sizes and colours.

Shapewear. A whole complex category of lingerie to minimize various aspects from thigh right up to breast. Not an easy article of clothing to purchase, to say the least. You need to know what spots you want to minimize. What you’ll wear it for, and how often.
I bought something very similar to the above for a wedding recently where I knew I’d be wearing a tight silk dress. I decided on what looks like a high waist since it would go right up to below my bra, and therefore not just shift my problem areas around. It worked out really well. I was firm, curved and looked great.
Here is what I didn’t like: it’s tight, and there was no “out” in the crotch, so you had to take it off to use the ladies room. It’s tight, and hard to get back on when you’re in the ladies room. Unless you pull it up really high, you’re in for a backache as it will hit you too low. Be prepared to ask for some friendly hands to yank it up.
Here are some thoughts:
It’s always good to buy nude if you only want one - that way it is never visible, no matter what you wear.
If you think you might wear something strapless, don’t get the full body suit, or at least look for a strapless version.
Make sure it has no visible bumps or seams if you wear something tight or silky.
Make sure it doesn’t just push up any problem fat areas to an unexpected other area of your body!

Popgadget shows us a very easy way to perk up the butt:
Look, even the butt-boosting undergarments have more sophisticated engineering in Japan. The Biniki serves the same function as the Bubbles bands, creating a “beautiful hip line” but in a far more stylish form.
Biniki works because of a unique three-ring system that adjusts to the wearer’s body, with the adjustable leg loops riding just under the buttocks, where the buttocks and thighs meet.
So far, not available in the US. But, I’m sure you can get it somehow.
